At end of trading day, 100 Index increases by 972 points, closing at 117,974 points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange had a positive day of trading today, with the 100 Index closing at its highest-ever level.
At the end of the trading day, the 100 Index increased by 972 points, closing at 117,974 points.
During the trading session, the highest level reached by the 100 Index was 118,243 points.
Today, 540 million shares were traded, amounting to Rs32 billion, while the market capitalization increased by Rs88 billion, reaching Rs14,355 billion.
