Explosion in Rawalpindi’s sewage line leaves road cracked and windows broken

Rawalpindi: An underground sewage line in the Khayaban-e-Sir Syed area of Rawalpindi exploded.
According to the locals, the explosion caused a crack in the road, and the windows of nearby buildings were shattered.
The locals mentioned that this was the third explosion in the underground sewage line in the Khayaban-e-Sir Syed area. They believe that the sewage line fills with gas due to a nearby shoe factory.
According to the residents, the gas pipeline passing through the sewage line is also leaking, and they have repeatedly requested the Sui Gas authorities to address the issue, but no action has been taken.
