Another earthquake of magnitude 6.4 also occurred

A strong earthquake has struck Myanmar, with tremors also felt in Bangladesh, India, Laos, and China, while severe aftershocks have also occurred after the earthquake.
According to Reuters, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 17.2 kilometers from the Myanmar city of Mandalay, which has a population of about 1.2 million people.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake was felt at a magnitude of 7.7, with its epicenter 10 kilometers underground in Myanmar.
Earthquake tremors have also been felt in Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Laos, and China. Due to the earthquake, frightened citizens came out of their homes.
Meanwhile, after the first strong earthquake, another earthquake of magnitude 6.4 has also occurred, with its epicenter 10 kilometers underground in Myanmar.
According to the Reuters news agency, chaos spread in the Thai capital Bangkok after a powerful earthquake, with several buildings collapsing.
Witnesses in Bangkok said people took to the streets in panic, most of whom were hotel guests wearing bathrobes and swimsuits.
There was no immediate statement from Myanmar on the damage.
An official from Myanmar’s Fire Services Department told Reuters that they have started the search and are going around Yangon to assess the casualties and damage, but they have no information yet.
Social media posts from Mandalay showed collapsed buildings and debris strewn on the roads, but Reuters could not immediately confirm the posts.
Eyewitnesses contacted in Yangon said many people came out of buildings in Yangon, the country's largest city.
