He was appointed legal advisor to Saudi cabinet

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s first jurist, Dr Motleb Al-Nafisah, has passed away.
According to the Royal Court, Dr Motleb’s funeral prayer was held on Friday after Asr prayers at the King Khalid Mosque in Riyadh.
Motleb Al-Nafisah was appointed as a legal advisor to the Saudi cabinet.
He also held several government positions, including as a minister of state and a member of the cabinet.
Dr Motleb Al-Nafisah was born in 1937 in Al-Qassim province. In 1962, he graduated in law from Cairo University and was then sent to the United States on a scholarship, where he obtained a master’s and doctorate in law from Harvard University.
