Incident occurs a day before Eid, causing fear among local Muslims

New Delhi: A powerful explosion occurred in a mosque in the Beed district of Maharashtra on Sunday morning, causing damage to the interior of the mosque. The police acted swiftly and arrested two suspects.
According to police officials, the explosion was caused by gelatin sticks; however, no casualties have been reported. The incident took place when an unidentified person entered the mosque through the back door and planted explosive material.
The village head informed the Talwada police about the incident at 4 a.m., after which Beed's Superintendent of Police, Naveent Kanwat, and other senior officials arrived at the scene.
Authorities tightened security in the area due to potential tensions, and further investigation is ongoing.
This incident occurred just one day before Eid ul Fitr, causing fear and panic among local Muslims.
