‘President Zardari is under close monitoring, and multiple tests have been conducted to assess his health’

Karachi: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in isolation, confirmed his doctor, Dr. Asim Hussain, on Wednesday.
Dr. Hussain told a private news channel that Zardari is receiving treatment from infectious disease specialists at a private hospital. He also mentioned that due to the president’s condition, all meetings have been canceled.
The doctor added that Zardari is under close monitoring, and multiple tests have been conducted to assess his health.
A medical team is providing 24/7 care to manage his condition.
Zardari was moved to the private hospital in Karachi from Nawabshah after facing health issues.
