(Web Desk): Legendary pop singer Nazia Hassan is being remembered today on her 60th birth anniversary.
Born on April 3, 1965, she became a major figure in the music world, introducing disco and indie-pop music to Pakistan and India.
Nazia, along with her brother Zohaib Hassan, created hits like "Disco Deewane" and "Boom Boom," which remain popular today.
She made her debut with the song "Aap Jaisa Koi" in the 1980 film “Qurbani”, which brought disco music to the subcontinent.
Nazia received several awards during her career, including Pakistan's prestigious Pride of Performance award.
