CM Gandapur says, ‘We will set up camps for those who wish to return voluntarily’

Islamabad: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that the provincial government will not forcefully expel Afghan nationals; however, if anyone wishes to leave voluntarily, they will be assisted in doing so.
During a press conference in Islamabad, CM Gandapur said that peace in the entire region is not possible until there is peace in Afghanistan.
Discussing the terrorist incidents in the country, he said that these individuals took up arms due to our wrong policies.
He emphasized the need to build a relationship of trust, stating that until peace is established in Afghanistan and the border areas, the situation will not improve.
He further said, “In KP, we will not forcibly send people to Afghanistan. The provincial police and administration will not force anyone out. We will set up camps for those who voluntarily wish to return.”
Gandapur said that the provincial government is engaging in talks with Afghanistan only on the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and criticized the federal government's policy on Afghan refugees.
