Due to late start of the match, it has been limited to 42 overs per inning

New Zealand whitewashed Pakistan in the ODI series after the T20, with the host team defeating the national team by 43 runs in the third ODI match.
Chasing the target of 265 runs set by New Zealand, Pakistan's batting failed once again and the entire team was bowled out for 221 runs in the 40th over, New Zealand winning the match by 43 runs.
For Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq and Babar Azam gave the team a good start of 73 runs but then no big partnership could be formed and except for Babar Azam, no player could score 50 runs. Captain Muhammad Rizwan played an innings of 37 runs while Abdullah Shafiq and Tayyab Tahir played innings of 33 runs each.
For New Zealand, Ben Sears took 5 wickets and Jacob Duffy took 2 wickets, with Michael Bracewell, Mohammad Abbas, and Daryl Mitchell taking one wicket each.
Earlier, New Zealand, batting first in a match affected by a wet outfield due to rain, scored 264 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 42 overs.
Kiwi captain Michael Bracewell stood out with 59 runs, while Akif Javed took 4 and Naseem Shah took two wickets for Pakistan.
Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq opened the innings for Pakistan, but Imam-ul-Haq retired injured after being hit in the face by a fielder's thrown ball while batting early in the innings.
Pakistan have scored 59 runs without losing a wicket in 13 overs, with Abdullah Shafiq on 26 and Babar Azam on 25 runs.
It is pertinent to note that New Zealand has a decisive two-nil lead in the three-match ODI series.
