Epicenter was located in the mountain range of Hindu Kush region


Swat: Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat, Mingora city, and its surroundings, due to which citizens came out of their homes and buildings in fear. However, no loss of life or property was reported.
According to the Seismological Center, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded as 4.2 on the Richter scale, while its depth was 64 km.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the mountain range of the Hindu Kush region, which has been the epicenter of earthquakes in the past.
The earthquake tremors were of short duration, but their intensity spread panic among the citizens.
The local administration and rescue agencies have issued instructions to be prepared for any possible emergency while monitoring the situation.
