Instagram disables ‘Content Notes’ feature after low usage
‘Content Notes’ feature lets users add a note to their posts visible only to their followers

(Web Desk): Instagram is planning to remove a popular feature for its users.
The feature, called "Content Notes," allowed users to add a note to their posts that could only be seen by their followers.
An Instagram spokesperson stated that they have started disabling the ability to leave notes on posts or reels, and users will not be able to see or share them in the coming weeks.
Instagram's head, Adam Mosseri, announced this change in an Instagram reel on March 26. He said that they had introduced Content Notes a few months ago to make Instagram more social and engaging, but in reality, most people did not adopt this feature.
Mosseri further explained that Instagram had become "more complex" over time, and they are working on fixing this by discontinuing features that are not widely used. However, some Instagram users are saddened by the removal of Content Notes.
