Texas: The measles outbreak has intensified in the US state of Texas.
According to media reports, more than 480 measles cases have been reported in Texas so far, while 3 deaths have been reported from measles across the US so far.
Measles cases have spread to New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas.
According to US Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr., more than 600 cases of measles have been reported this year.
He says that the MMR vaccine is the most effective way to prevent the spread of measles.
The US Secretary of Health has also said that the US declared the elimination of measles from the country in the year 2000.
