Abdullah was an employee at a milk and yogurt shop for Rs 800 per day

Lahore: Manawan police have arrested a milk shop owner for alegedly torturing an 18-year-old employee to death for taking too much Eidul Fitr vacation.
The police said that the tragic incident took place in the Manawan area where the shopkeeper, Asif alias Hasnain tortured Abdullah who later died of wounds.
Abdullah was an employee at a milk and yogurt shop for Rs 800 per day. According to the victim’s father, when Abdullah went back to the shop after the Eid vacation, the shop owner Asif subjected him to the worst torture. The father kept taking his son to hospitals but he could not survive.
Upon receiving the information, the Manawan police took immediate action and registered a case and arrested the accused named in the First Information Report (FIR).
The police have completed the post-mortem and handed over the body of the deceased to the heirs. The case has been handed over to the Investigation Branch for investigation.
