Will marry a boy as beautiful as a 'Hoor': Tooba Anwar

Karachi: Model and actress Tooba Anwar has said she would marry a boy as beautiful as a 'Hoor'.

Tooba Anwar recently appeared on Nida Yasir’s show, where she was asked about marriage. The actress openly shared her thoughts regarding her future spouse.

She mentioned that generally, girls do not focus on a boy’s physical appearance when it comes to marriage; they primarily pay attention to his personality, whereas boys tend to prioritize beauty.

She further explained that she doesn’t know why boys prioritize beauty, and girls, personality, but she plans to marry someone with whom she shares a mental connection and can build a friendly relationship.

Anwar said she would prefer to marry an educated man. For her, wealth or a high-earning man is not as important; however, he should be working in some capacity.

According to the actress, marriage is a long-term relationship, and one should carefully choose a partner with whom they have a mental connection and can maintain a friendly relationship.

She pointed out that many married couples don’t have compatible minds and lack good relationships, which leads to problems. Therefore, everyone should marry someone who brings peace of mind.

Tooba Anwar emphasized that physical beauty is not important to her; she just wants her future spouse to be handsome.

When the host Nida Yasir insisted, Tooba Anwar stated that she would marry a boy who is as beautiful as a Hoor. The host responded by saying that a boy with such beauty would be of a different kind.

Tooba Anwar then admitted that she was struggling to explain what she meant by a Hoor-like boy, to which Nida Yasir suggested she just wants an attractive man. Tooba agreed, saying that, yes, she would like an attractive man for marriage.

It is worth noting that Tooba Anwar secretly married former TV host and scholar Aamir Liaquat in mid-2018, a marriage that Aamir Liaquat publicly acknowledged in 2020.

Reports of differences between them surfaced by the end of 2021, and in February 2022, Tooba Anwar confirmed that she had divorced Aamir Liaquat.

There was a 20-year age difference between the two, and Aamir Liaquat passed away in June 2022.
