Discussions were held with flour millers regarding procurement of wheat at the best possible rates

Lahore: An meeting on wheat procurement plan in Punjab was held on teh direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Punjab's Minister for Agriculture Syed Ashiq Kermani and Special Assistant for Price Control Salma Butt attended the meeting with representatives from the Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA).
The meeting also saw participation from Punjab's Secretary for Agriculture, Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, and Secretary for Price Control and Commodities Management, Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti.

Discussions were held with the PFMA regarding the procurement of wheat at the best possible rates in the province.
The agriculture minister said that on the direction of the CM, every effort will be made to ensure farmers receive the best prices for their wheat crop.
Special Assistant for Price Control Salma Butt claimed that there were no restrictions on inter-provincial wheat transportation.
