'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' is first Indian film to be honoured at Leicester Square in London


London: A statue of actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will be installed in London in the wake of the popularity of Bollywood's most successful film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.
According to Indian media, this film, released in 1995, was not only a blockbuster but also did phenomenal business and now, on the completion of 30 years of the film's success, it is being appreciated in London.
According to media reports, The Heart of London Business Alliance has announced that a bronze statue of Bollywood duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will soon be unveiled in London's Leicester Square.
Reports have it that the film 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' is the first Indian film to be honoured at Leicester Square in London's famous Scene in the Square film trail.
The film was produced by Yash Raj Chopra and was the debut film of director Aditya Chopra. The film has also won several awards and the statue will be unveiled this year.
