Shafqat Ali Khan further said that Pakistan has important relations with Afghanistan. The recent visit of the Special Representative to Kabul was quite important and many topics were discussed.
He also stated that Pakistan has always stood by its Afghan sisters and brothers in difficult times. However, securing our borders is our policy and we are implementing the return of illegally residing foreigners.
Shafqat Ali Khan further said that foreign policy is a federal matter. The provincial government will check the TORs of negotiations with Afghanistan with the Afghan desk.
The spokesperson continued to say that the issue of the US establishing an air base in Bagram is a social media rumor, but this is a mutual matter between the Afghan and US governments.
