An interesting feature tested for Instagram Reels
Users can access reels by entering correct code

Instagram is testing an interesting feature that will allow users to lock Reels videos with a secret code.
According to a report, this will be a unique way for users to connect with their fans on Instagram.
In this way, they will be able to share their special Reels videos only with those who are closest to them.
The photo-sharing app, owned by Meta, is testing this feature on its design account.
A locked Reels was shared on this account, to view which users will have to enter a secret code according to the clue given in the account.
This clue is given in the hashtag threads before the post's caption, or rather, the threads are its secret code.
Users can access the reels by entering the correct code.
This feature can be used by brands to promote new products or users can use it to strengthen their connection with their followers.
It is not clear what the purpose of locking the reel video in a secret code is if the secret code is indicated in the post's caption.
By the way, this feature is similar to Reveal, another feature of Instagram.
Through this feature, users can hide a story from followers and it is accessed through Direct Message.
