Mohsin Naqvi said new conditions will prevent beggars and illegal immigration


Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has blocked the passports of those deported from different countries.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Directorate of Immigration and Passports and chaired an important meeting during which he was informed that the passports of 53,000 deported Pakistanis have been blocked.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Secretary of Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, Director General (DG) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Rifat Mukhtar Raja, and DG Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi were also present on the occasion.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to complete all legal matters for the new conditions for obtaining a passport as soon as possible.
He said that the new conditions will prevent beggars and illegal immigration and 100 percent implementation of the directive to block the passports of deportees should be ensured.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said that this decision will send a positive message to the international community.
