Named accused hold posts of District President and Vice President of Anjuman-e-Qadiani


Kasur: Police Station A Division Kasur has registered a case against 40 unidentified Qadianis, including two named persons. The case was registered at the request of a citizen named Afzal, a resident of Kot Shami Shaheed.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the named accused include Yousuf Qamar and Tanveer, who respectively hold the posts of District President and Vice President of Anjuman Qadiani, while they are also in charge of Dar-ul-Zikr.
The text of the case states that Qadianis imitate Muslims by offering individual and collective prayers, Taraweeh, and Friday prayers, and are openly using Islamic rituals, which is a violation of the law.
According to the police, a case has been registered under various sections, but no accused has been arrested yet. Police are reviewing the circumstances and incidents and action will be taken as per the law.
It is pertinent to note that due to the legal complications and sensitive nature of such cases, further steps are taken only after a thorough investigation.
