Epicenter of the earthquake was the border area of Pak-Afghan Tajikistan


Islamabad: Severe earthquake tremors were felt in various parts of the country, including the federal capital Islamabad, after which people came out of their homes reciting Holy verses.
According to the details, apart from the federal capital, severe tremors were also felt in the twin city of Rawalpindi, which spread fear and panic among the people.
According to the report, tremors were felt in Swat, Peshawar, Mardan, Mandi Bahauddin, Gojar Khan, Shujaabad, Malakand, Swabi, Haripur, Attock, Chiniot, Saraye Alamgir, Okara, Khanewal, Taxila and their surrounding areas.
The earthquake measured 5.5 on the Richter scale, and the Seismological Center said that the depth of the earthquake was 12 kilometers.
The Seismological Center said that the epicenter of the earthquake was the border area of Pak-Afghan Tajikistan.
