Following the instructions of PM and Deputy PM, bodies will be sent home soon


Islamabad: The list of Pakistanis killed in a terrorist attack in Iran has been released.
Pakistani Ambassador to Iran Mudassar Tipu released the list of eight Pakistani citizens killed in a terrorist attack in Iran two days ago.
According to Pakistani Ambassador to Iran Mudassar Tipu, eight Pakistani workers from Bahawalpur were killed in the Iranian city of Mehrestan.
The Pakistani ambassador said that the deceased include Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Dilshad, Muhammad Nasir, Malik Jamshed, Muhammad Danish, Muhammad Naeem, Ghulam Jafar, and Muhammad Khalid.
Mudassar Tipu said that the Pakistani embassy is in full contact with Iranian authorities and arrangements are being made to bring the bodies of the deceased Pakistanis back to their homeland. Following the instructions of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, the bodies will be sent home soon.
The Pakistani ambassador further said that full cooperation is ongoing with Iran to seek justice for the deaths of Pakistani citizens and they are in contact with the Iranian authorities for an immediate and transparent investigation. The Iranian government has assured full cooperation.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday, terrorists opened fire on a workshop in Iran's Sistan province and killed 8 Pakistani car mechanics. The victims belonged to Punjab.
