Syed Qamar Raza added that Army Chief had full cooperation in organizing the convention


Islamabad: The first annual convention of overseas Pakistanis is underway in Islamabad in recognition of the services of overseas Pakistanis in the development of the country.
A large number of overseas Pakistanis from all over the world who have rendered excellent services are participating in the convention. The convention aims to appreciate the services of Pakistanis living abroad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Syed Asim Munir are also participating in the convention. In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers, senators, members of parliament, and Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori are also present at the overseas convention.
The national anthem was presented at the convention, and a special documentary was also shown on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza said that he welcomes all Pakistanis from all over the world to the ceremony. More than 1,200 overseas Pakistanis are participating in the convention. The Prime Minister has given special time for the program and has formed a high-level committee for the convention.
He stated that every effort is being made to solve the problems of overseas Pakistanis. There are 12 million Pakistanis in 160 countries of the world. Overseas Pakistanis are the crown of our heads. Overseas Pakistanis are the ambassadors and faces of the country.
Syed Qamar Raza added that the Army Chief had full cooperation in organizing the convention. Lunch has been arranged by the Army Chief for the participants of the convention.
