Fawad Khan returns to Bollywood after 9 years with romantic song 'Khudaya Ishq'

(Web Desk): Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has made a strong comeback to Bollywood after nine years. The first song from his new film ‘Abir Gulaal’, titled ‘Khudaya Ishq’, was released on YouTube over the weekend. The romantic track also features Indian actress Vaani Kapoor and has already created a buzz on social media.
The song is sung by popular singers Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao. Music is composed by Amit Trivedi, and the emotional lyrics are written by renowned lyricist Kumar. The music video, which shows a deep romantic connection between the lead pair, was filmed in the United Kingdom.
‘Abir Gulaal’ tells the story of two strangers who meet by chance and fall in love. According to a member of the production team, Fawad’s performance brings depth and sincerity to the role. His return to Indian cinema has excited fans in both India and Pakistan.
Despite threats from Hindu nationalist groups who oppose cross-border collaborations, Fawad has received support from several Bollywood celebrities. Many praised his talent and welcomed his return.
