Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan and Afghanistan early this morning.

According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake was recorded in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan with a magnitude of 5.3 and a depth of 121 kilometers.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 167 kilometers east of Baghlan, Afghanistan.

Earthquake tremors were felt in several districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan.

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Malakand, Swat, Shangla, Chitral, Abbottabad, Mardan, Mohmand, Swabi, Lower Dir, Kohat, and Bajaur.
