Earthquake was recorded at magnitude of 5.3


Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan and Afghanistan early this morning.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake was recorded in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan with a magnitude of 5.3 and a depth of 121 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 167 kilometers east of Baghlan, Afghanistan.
Earthquake in Punjab, KP
Earthquake tremors were felt in several districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan.
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Malakand, Swat, Shangla, Chitral, Abbottabad, Mardan, Mohmand, Swabi, Lower Dir, Kohat, and Bajaur.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in the Bhimber Samahni area of Azad Kashmir and its surrounding areas.
In addition, earthquake tremors were also felt in various cities of Punjab including Lahore.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake was recorded at a magnitude of 5.3.
People came out of their homes in fear due to the earthquake, but no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
On the other hand, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, earthquake tremors were also felt in many areas of Afghanistan.
No loss of life or property has been reported in Afghanistan either.
