Price of 24-karat gold per tola increases by Rs2,000, reaching an all-time high of Rs350,000

(Web Desk): The surge in gold prices continues across the country, as rates hit a historic high today.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000, reaching an all-time high of Rs350,000 for the first time in Pakistan’s history.
According to the state-run news agency APP, the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of one tola of pure 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,000, reaching Rs350,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,715, now being sold at Rs300,368, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw an increase of Rs1,572, reaching Rs275,072.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a rise. The price of one tola of silver increased by Rs59, now being sold at Rs3,401, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs51, reaching Rs2,915.
The association also reported that in the international market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $19, reaching the level of $3,329.
It’s worth noting that just a day earlier, the price of gold in Pakistan had surged by Rs8,600 per tola, touching a then-record high of Rs348,000, while the price of 10 grams of gold had climbed by Rs7,373, reaching Rs298,353.
