(Web Desk): The Karachi Commissioner has imposed a complete two-month ban on heavy traffic during daytime hours to prevent road accidents.
The restriction also applies to construction material-carrying dumpers. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
The ban was enforced based on a recommendation from the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic.
However, certain routes have been designated for heavy traffic movement.
