Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that terrorists will be defeated so badly that they will not dare to look at Pakistan with a dirty eye.
Federal Ministers, including Azam Nazir Tarar, Mohsin Naqvi, Ahad Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Relations Rana Sanaullah, Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, are participating in the meeting to review the law and order situation under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Interior Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Shams-ul-Haq, Interior Minister Azad Kashmir Waqar Noon, Chief Secretaries and IGs of all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, are also participating in the meeting. Chief Commissioner Islamabad, IG Islamabad Police, and officers of other relevant government agencies are also present at the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that our jihad will continue to uproot terrorism from the country. We will give such a bad defeat to terrorists that they will not dare to look at Pakistan with a dirty eye.
He stated that Pakistan's enemies are afraid of our economic successes. The efforts of all institutions and provinces regarding counter-terrorism operations are commendable. The federal government will fully cooperate to increase the capacity of the provinces for the complete elimination of terrorism and extremism. We have to forget all our differences and work together to eliminate terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif added that the brave soldiers and officers of the security forces are fighting terrorism day and night.
He directed that all institutions should intensify their efforts against smuggling and the circle around the human trafficking network should be further tightened, and smugglers should be brought under the clutches of the law.
He further said that Safe City projects should be completed as soon as possible in important cities of the country. The federation and the provinces are working together regarding the narrative against terrorism, which is welcome.
