This initiative will help support household kitchen expenses


Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the distribution of ration cards to 1.25 million people.
Speaking at a ceremony in Lahore for the provision of assistive devices and wheelchairs to special persons, Maryam Nawaz urged individuals with disabilities to register themselves on the Social Welfare Department’s portal.
She stated, “I am pleased that the direction of power has changed — now the government itself reaches the people’s doorstep. When the state extends a helping hand to special persons, their hardships become easier.”
Announcing the ration card initiative, the Chief Minister said that ration cards will be distributed on May 1st to 1.25 million people, which will help support household kitchen expenses.
