Lahore: The 87th death anniversary of philosopher-poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal will be observed on Monday. A special ceremony in this connection was held at the Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, highlighted Iqbal's contributions, saying that through his poetry, Dr. Iqbal awakened the Muslim Ummah and granted them intellectual liberation.
He urged the nation to adopt Iqbal's ideals for national progress and unity, working together for the country's development.
