29 injured in bus-truck collision in Jhelum
Jhelum: Following an unfortunate incident, at least twenty nine people sustained serious injuries on Tuesday after a passenger bus collided with a Mazda Truck near Lillah Interchange in Jhelum.
According to details, the accident occurred when the over-speeding passenger bus rammed into a truck that was coming from the opposite direction, injuring 29 people.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Several people of the injured were in critical condition.
As per Police, the deadly crash was due to over-speeding and negligence of the bus driver.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is under way.
