Many people died due to lack of timely medical care


Jamshoro: A truck full of passengers fell into a ditch near Bola Khan police station in Jamshoro tehsil, killing 16 passengers and injuring more than 25.
According to police officials, the tragic incident took place at the Tonk check police post located at the junction of Balochistan and Jamshoro.
According to police officials, more than 40 people from the Bhel community who were going to Badin after harvesting wheat were returning in the truck when it fell into the ditch.
The sacks of wheat in the truck also fell, killing 16 people in the accident, including women and children, while more than 25 people were injured.
There was a lack of medical facilities in the Bola Khan Tonk hospital, where many people died due to lack of timely medical care. After which, the 5 injured children were brought to the Civil Hospital in Hyderabad, and four of them died during treatment.
Since the accident site was very difficult, it is taking 4 to 5 hours for the injured to reach the hospital.
