Arrested accused Fawad had lost Rs500,000 to his father in gold trading


Karachi: Police have arrested a man who gave a false report of a robbery of Rs500,000 in the Clifton area of Karachi.
According to the police, a citizen who gave a false report of a robbery of Rs500,000 was arrested from Eidgah Park in Clifton, and the amount was also recovered from the accused’s house.
The arrested accused Fawad had lost Rs500,000 to his father in gold trading, and in order not to return the loss, Fawad gave a false report of the robbery.
According to the police, the accused had withdrawn Rs500,000 from his account and kept it at home. Fawad called the police and told them that the four accused had snatched Rs500,000 from him at gunpoint. No evidence of the robbery was found in the CCTV camera video at the scene where the accused had described the incident.
When the accused Fawad was questioned strictly, he confessed that he had given a false report, after which a case was registered against him.
