Former Australian Test cricketer and commentator Michael Slater has been sentenced to four years in prison.
According to Australian media, Michael Slater pleaded guilty to seven charges, including domestic violence.
The Maroochydore District Court in Queensland heard Michael Slater’s case, who was charged with several charges, including domestic violence against a woman in late 2023.
The court made it clear to Michael Slater that he had been drinking, so rehab was not an easy task.
Later, the court sentenced him to four years in prison, but he has already spent more than a year in prison.
It is pertinent to note that Michael Slater represented Australia in 74 Tests and 42 ODI matches.
