WhatsApp to roll out 90-second status video feature soon
This update may be launched in the coming months

(Web Desk): Instant messaging application WhatsApp is likely to introduce a new feature allowing users to share longer videos in Status or Stories.
Currently, WhatsApp allows users to share videos up to 60 seconds (1 minute) in their Status. Initially, the app only supported 30-second video clips, which was later extended to one minute.
Now, WhatsApp is reportedly testing an increase in the video duration limit to 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) for Status updates.
According to a website that tracks WhatsApp updates, this 90-second video feature for Status has already been rolled out for testing. Selected users now have access to the feature, and in the second phase, it will be made available to more users.
After broader testing among users, the feature to share longer videos in Status or Stories will be officially introduced. It is expected that this update may be launched in the coming months.
