Arrested suspect is accused of preparing fake tissue matching reports for various patients to facilitate kidney transplants


(Web Desk): The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore conducted a major operation and arrested the leader of a gang involved in illegal organ transplantation.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the operation was carried out based on a complaint filed by the affected citizen.
The arrested suspect, Muhammad Irfan Aslam, is accused of preparing fake tissue matching reports for various patients to facilitate kidney transplants and using private hospitals for illegal surgeries.
The spokesperson stated that the suspect had been wanted by the FIA Lahore Zone since 2024 and was part of an illegal network involved in the buying and selling of human organs.
FIA officials also mentioned that other suspects and facilitators involved in the network would be arrested soon. The spokesperson emphasized that no one would be allowed to play with human lives, and strict action would continue against those involved in such crimes.
