Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif is chief guest of the ceremony


Kakul: The passing out parade ceremony is underway at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, in which political and military leadership is participating.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif is the chief guest of the ceremony, while Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir is attending as the Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military Guest of Honor.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, foreign diplomats, and senior civil and military officials also attended the passing out ceremony.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was saluted on his arrival at the ceremony, while the Prime Minister’s arrival at the ceremony was announced by blowing a trumpet, and Shahbaz Sharif was saluted.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inspected the parade at PMA Kakul, while the cadets graduating from PMA Kakul also took oath. The Prime Minister distributed prizes among the cadets who demonstrated excellent performance.
The honorary sword was received by Under Officer Muhammad Hanan Malik, the Presidential Gold Medal was received by Under Officer Zain-ul-Abidin, while the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Overseas Gold Medal was given to a cadet from Nepal.
Lady Cadet Laiba Rehman was also honored, and Under Officer Muhammad Talha Ayaz received the Commandant’s Honorary Cane.
Shehbaz Sharif, while congratulating the passing out cadets, said that it is an honor for him to participate in the passing out parade. Our armed forces are a symbol of organization, unity, and national interest.
Addressing the passing out cadets, he said that today you are becoming a part of one of the best forces in the world, whose discipline is exemplary in the world. The armed forces work according to the guiding principles of the founder of Pakistan.
