(Web Desk): Technology company OpenAI is set to launch a new lightweight version of its Deep Research feature to make it more accessible to everyone.
Powered by the company’s o4-mini model, this version may not be as heavy-duty as the original, but it still offers robust capabilities.
This feature can browse the web in real time, fetch the latest data, and provide responses quickly. Additionally, it will be available for free.
According to OpenAI, while the lighter version of Deep Research may offer shorter responses, that doesn't mean the quality will be compromised. Users will still receive valuable results — just more concise.
