Sajal Malik says that Imran Ashraf is not directly related to her, but he is her mother's cousin

(Web Desk): TikToker and TV host Sajal Malik revealed that the famous actor and TV host Imran Ashraf is a relative of hers.
Sajal Malik recently surprised everyone during a podcast by claiming her relation to Imran Ashraf, adding that she had sought his help when she started her career.
Sajal shared that when she was studying at university, she first contacted Imran Ashraf via Instagram, asking him for work in showbiz.
According to her, Imran Ashraf was unaware of their family connection, but when she asked him about it, he confirmed they were relatives.
Sajal said she sent Imran Ashraf a picture of her mother and told him she was her daughter.
The TikToker mentioned that Imran Ashraf is her mother's cousin, though they have never met in person.
She also revealed that she had obtained Imran Ashraf’s phone number through her uncle and had spoken to him over the phone, asking him for a chance in the showbiz industry. Imran Ashraf responded positively, assuring her that he would definitely help her.
Sajal added that the Instagram account she used to message Imran Ashraf was later hacked by a boy who changed the profile picture, so she created a new account.
She explained that when she reached out to Imran Ashraf for work in showbiz, he wasn’t as popular at the time, but still responded kindly and was supportive.
Sajal expressed her happiness that someone from her family is so well-known, and if Imran Ashraf ever invites her on his show, she will surely attend.
She clarified that Imran Ashraf is not directly related to her but is her mother’s cousin, and although they have never met in person, they have spoken on the phone and on Instagram.
