Border crossing is continuing amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India following Pahalgam shooting

Lahore: As many as 315 more passengers departed for India via Wagah Border, while 201 Pakistanis returned from India on Wednesday.
Following heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, the repatriation of citizens from both countries continues.
According to officials, two Pakistani women who had gone to India after marriage have also been sent back. One woman said that she had moved to India after marriage and gave birth to a son there. However, due to her Pakistani citizenship, she was forcibly deported, and her four-month-old son remains with his father in India.
Another woman reported a similar situation. She, too, had moved to India after marriage and gave birth to four children. Despite her family ties, she was forcibly expelled because of her Pakistani citizenship.
