Military officials from both countries discuss recent ceasefire violations along the LoC


(Web Desk): Amid ongoing tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), a hotline conversation took place between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India.
According to a foreign news agency, the military officials from both countries discussed recent ceasefire violations along the LoC. Security sources reported that during the night between April 29 and 30, India violated the ceasefire agreement and carried out unprovoked firing in the Kiani and Mandal sectors of the LoC.
Sources said that Indian forces used small arms during the unprovoked firing, prompting a strong retaliatory response from the Pakistan Army. The Pakistani forces gave a fitting reply and managed to silence the Indian guns along the LoC.
According to security sources, several Indian posts were reportedly destroyed by the effective response of the Pakistan Army, including the destruction of India’s Chakpatra post in occupied Kashmir.
