Pakistan and US agreed to bring terrorists to justice


Washington: The United States has mobilized to reduce tensions between Pakistan and India.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio telephoned Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indian counterpart Jai Shankar, urging them to jointly reduce the recent tensions. The Pakistani Prime Minister offered a transparent and impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident.
Pakistan and the United States agreed to bring the terrorists to justice.
Marco Rubio urged the Indian Foreign Minister to play a role in reducing tensions and said that Pakistani authorities are ready to cooperate in the investigation of the Pahalgam attack.
US State Department spokesperson Timmy Bruce said in a statement on the talks between the two leaders that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reiterated America’s commitment to cooperation with India against terrorism and also expressed regret over the Pahalgam incident.
