Modi fails to provide evidence of Pahlgam incident, says Obama’s former policy advisor
Modi is playing politics over Pahalgam incident, stated global policy expert Watkins

The former policy advisor of former US President Barack Obama and global policy expert, Larry A. Watkins, appeared on a Pakistani private news channel and addressed the Pahalgam incident.
In this interview, Watkins raises serious questions about the role of the Indian government regarding the Pahlgam incident.
She said that India is pursuing war policies after the Pahalgam incident, adding that the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, talked about providing evidence of the Pahalgam incident but failed to do so.
Modi is playing politics over the Pahalgam incident, stated the global policy expert Watkins.
Obama’s former policy advisor added that the US, Russia, and other countries are waiting for the results of the investigation into the Pahalgam incident.
Despite failing to provide evidence against Pakistan, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty after the Pahalgam incident and downgraded diplomatic relations with Pakistan, she said further.
Watkins also stated that the lack of media coverage in the US about the Pahalgam incident is disturbing, as not a single mainstream media outlet reported the incident properly.
The Trump administration is not currently focusing on the South Asian region. India’s refusal to allow an independent investigation into the Pahalgam incident is a cause for concern for the international community, Watkins expressed.
She said that the voice of Kashmiris is being suppressed. Without listening to all parties, especially those most affected, no real solution can emerge.
