Hania Amir calls viral Insta post attributed to her ‘false’
She urged everyone to honor those impacted by choosing empathy, truth, and togetherness

Karachi: Pakistani actress Hania Amir slams Indian propaganda, calling a viral Instagram post false and fabricated.
A few days ago, a fake social media post against Pakistan went viral in the name of Hania Amir, which surprised people on both sides of the border, but now Hania has clarified the matter turning to the story of her verified Instagram account.
The actress wrote: “Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly. I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe”.
That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy-not politicization, she stated.
Hania added that in times like these, it is easy to let emotions cloud our judgements, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people.
She further wrote that assigning blame without proof only deepens the divide and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing.
“To my beloved supporters, your love means everything to me. I kindly ask everyone to check the truth before sharing and to approach these difficult times with kindness and clarity,” Amir continued to say.
She urged everyone to honor those impacted by choosing empathy, truth, and togetherness, adding that she remains committed to spreading positivity and respect in all that she does. With sincere condolences and hope for peace.
It is pertinent to note that on April 22, 26 Indian tourists were killed in an attack in Pahalgam, occupied Kashmir, and India blamed Pakistan without any investigation.
Not only this, but after this, India banned the social media accounts of Pakistani artists as a strict measure.
