The rivalry between the two teams is closely contested, with Islamabad United winning 13 of 25 encounters and Peshawar Zalmi 12

(Web Desk): Islamabad United won the toss and chose to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi in the 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
Peshawar Zalmi will be hoping to find their form again after winning two matches and losing four so far this season. On the other hand, Islamabad United, despite one loss, have been in strong form with five victories, making them the table-toppers.
As the 2025 PSL reaches its halfway point, the two teams are in very different situations. Peshawar Zalmi have struggled this season, with only two wins out of six matches. Their most recent match ended in a big 64-run defeat to Quetta Gladiators. Despite having Babar Azam leading the team, their batting has not performed well, raising concerns about their chances of reaching the playoffs.
In contrast, Islamabad United started the tournament strongly with five straight wins. However, their winning streak ended with a heavy 88-run loss to Lahore Qalandars in their last match.
The rivalry between these two teams has been closely contested, with Islamabad United winning 13 of their 25 encounters, while Peshawar Zalmi has won 12. Islamabad United are the favorites for this match due to their strong form, but Peshawar Zalmi’s difficult position could spark a tough fight.
