Council heard both complainants and respondents and decided multiple cases accordingly


Lahore: The meeting of the Punjab Council of Complaints was held under the chairpersonship of Dr Lubna Zaheer.
The agenda included cases against several television channels related to violations of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority’s (PEMRA) code of conduct, non-compliance with directives, and non-payment of dues.
The Council heard both complainants and respondents and decided multiple cases accordingly. Some cases were adjourned upon the request of concerned parties and will be taken up in the next meeting.
Council members Mr Zahid Masood and Ms Rashida Sohail attended the meeting, along with Mr Qasim Ahmed as Secretary of the Council and other officials from PEMRA.
