Purpose of missile test is to ensure operational readiness


Rawalpindi: Pakistan has successfully tested the Abdali missile system under the X-Indus exercise. The range of the Abdali missile is 450 kilometers.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the Abdali missile system with a range of 450 kilometers has been successfully tested.
According to the ISPR, the range of the I-Abdali missile is 150 kilometers. The Abdali missile is capable of hitting targets from surface to surface.
The statement said the test was conducted as part of Exercise ‘Indus’, which aimed to test the operational readiness of the forces and test key technical aspects of the missile, including an advanced navigation system and improved trajectory change capability.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, the training exercise was witnessed by Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Strategic Plans Division, and senior officers of the Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic institutions.
According to the ISPR, the President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), and the Chiefs of all Armed Forces congratulated the officers, scientists, and engineers who participated in the exercise.
The leaders expressed full confidence in the operational readiness and technical expertise of Pakistan's strategic forces, saying that they are capable of safeguarding the country's security and possessing effective defense capabilities.
