He passed away due to a heart attack

Sialkot: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Senator Professor Sajid Mir passed away.
According to media reports, Sajid Mir was 86 years old and he passed away due to a heart attack.
Sajid Mir was born on October 2, 1938 in Sialkot and completed his education from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.
Professor Sajid Mir was a senator continuously from 2003 to 2025, and before that, he was also a member of the Upper House from 1994 to 2000.
Sajid Mir was also the Ameer of the Central Jamaat Ahle Hadith Pakistan and was serving as the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology.
