Hospitals are seeing a growing number of patients complaining of these issues

(Web Desk): As the heat intensifies in Karachi, cases of food poisoning, stomach infections, and other digestive issues are on the rise.
A common summer fruit, watermelon, has become a major cause of concern. Though usually refreshing and healthy, many people have reported falling sick with food poisoning and even cholera after eating it. Hospitals are seeing a growing number of patients complaining of these issues.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department recently warned that temperatures in Karachi and other parts of Sindh would remain higher than usual. The city has been facing intense heat, especially between 11am and 4pm.
Authorities have urged people to stay indoors during peak hours unless necessary, to avoid heat-related health problems and reduce the risk of illness caused by spoiled food and fruits in extreme temperatures.
