Various programs will continue in academies throughout the year


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to fully activate the academies in Lahore, Karachi, and Multan, reportedly.
According to media reports, various programs will continue in the academies of the three cities throughout the year, and special attention will be paid to the Age Group Pathways Program; bench strength will be worked on at the National Cricket Academy Lahore.
It is also reported that performers will be recruited at the National Cricket Academy, and coaches will work with them. Under-19 cricketers will be trained in Multan and prepared for the upcoming World Cup, and the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team and other potential players will be trained in Karachi.
The report also suggests that women cricketers will be prepared for this year's World Cup and next year's T20 World Cup.
Aqib Javed is a strong candidate to take over the post of Director of High Performance, the report stated.
